FILM! FORCE!! FOREVER!!!
I bet you thought I’d forgotten about the movie club, didn’t you? Well, I didn’t. I totally didn’t. It’s just taken me roughly forever to finish the poster and find the time to post it here. But here it is. LOOK AT IT!
I chose the Wachowski’s Speed Racer as our debut film, mainly because it’s insane. It is literally a live-action cartoon, an overwhelming, neon-colored roller-coaster that is less a film than it is an experience. Don’t think about it. Don’t analyze it. Surrender to it. Just open your eyes and start grinning.
If you haven’t seen it, here’s your chance. If you have, well, then you know what I’m talking about.

What is Film Force Forever?
It’s a movie club. You know how you have a book club and everybody reads a book at sort of like the same time and then discusses it, picking out their favorite parts, bringing up ideas, allusions, what worked, what didn’t, etc.? It’s like that, but with movies. Basically, it’s a book club for illiterates.
How do I participate?
Reblog this post. Watch the movie. Post about it however you’d like. Tag your posts with “Film Force Forever” and the film title. Done.
